Meadow Park received some major upgrades in the summer of 2016 with new play structures for 2-5 and 5-12 age groups, musical play pieces, new sitting areas and sidewalks, a picnic shelter that can be reserved, and updated restrooms. The two tennis courts were recently converted to eight pickleball courts; play in your own time, or meet like-minded pickle ballers at the Emerald Valley Pickleball Club. The baseball field also got some upgrades and hosts Babe Ruth league games. The park improvements were assisted with a $260,000 Local Government Grant Program award.
