This new 5.5-acre park will be located in the Spring Creek neighborhood at 1140 South State Street. Funded mostly through Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and impact fees on new development, this site will provide park and recreation opportunities to an under-served area of Provo. Features of this park include a terraced playground with modern playground equipment, a group pavilion, two picnic pavilion sites, a sports court, family-style restrooms, landscaped berms with shade trees and a perimeter pathway around an open turf area. The park was designed by Provo residents from the local neighborhoods along with city staff and consulting team. Completion is scheduled for late spring 2019.
